There was a group called 'Pessimism'
They used a term: 'deadlines'.
There was another group called 'Optimism'
They used these terms: achieve-lines or goal-lines.
Guess the happier group (there is something in a name don't you think?!)
Deadlines sound so ominous for something you are trying to achieve in a regular work-day.

@ Saumya: Not for the sake of an argument...but my efficiency is better when i set deadlines...even for routine work...but point well taken...
@mad-max, I think Saumya's point is that, it is okay to have a timeline. But calling it "deadline" versus "goal-lines" is kind of pessimistic...
One of the reasons why I consider Buddha a pessimist..He should have said "Contentment is the root cause of all happiness" instead of "Desire is the root cause of all evils"....I think it is easier to go behind contentment than giving up desire...:)
